Welcome to Ellingson Angus and thank you for taking the time to study this year’s offering. We sincerely appreciate your interest and confidence in our program. Whether you are a long-time cus- tomer or attending for the first time, we look forward to visiting with you and hosting you at the ranch on Feb. 7. The beef industry is currently in an encouraging and optimistic position. Strong cattle prices, steady demand for high-quality beef and renewed confidence throughout the supply chain continue to reward disciplined management and sound genetics. We believe the future is bright for producers who focus on efficiency, fertility and long-term productivity, and those principles remain the foundation of our program. At Ellingson Angus, our cowherd is the cornerstone of everything we do. Decades of strategic breeding and strict culling have shaped a herd built for real-world functionality. Traits such as fleshing ability, sound feet and udders, fertility, disposition and longevity are essential to profitability. While we value performance data and EPDs, we never lose sight of the fact that cattle must work under practical conditions. Our sale offering reflects that philosophy and provides access to proven, functional genetics in volume. Customer service has always been a priority
for our family, and our commitment does not end when the sale is over. We work hard to support our customers beyond the auction, including assisting with marketing feeder calves, bred heifers and open heifers that trace back to Ellingson genetics. We are proud to work alongside customers whose cattle consistent- ly top the market, and we are always willing to help connect buyers, provide background information or discuss marketing strategies. Your success is directly tied to ours. This year’s sale features a deep, uniform set of bulls backed by generations of maternal strength, along with an outstanding selection of females. This offering reflects both the direction of our program and the needs of today’s commercial cattle industry – cattle built for efficiency, consistency and long-term returns. Whether your goals include improving calving ease, strength- ening maternal value or adding pounds and uniformity to your calfcrop, we are confident you will find cattle that fit your opera- tion. A significant portion of this year’s offering comes from our embryo transfer program, providing access to seedstock from our most elite females and offering many full brothers. We invite you to join us Feb. 7 to view the cattle, ask questions and enjoy the fellowship that makes the sale one of our favorite days of the year. Don’t hesitate to reach out if we can be of help. ~ Chad Ellingson

To make reservations, call (701) 751-7484. Guarantee The cattle are guaranteed to be fertile and reproductively sound. All bulls selling come with a first-year breeding-season guarantee against injury or infertility issues. “Breeding season” is defined by the time of turnout to 60 days later. All bulls will have passed a semen evaluation before being delivered. If any fertility problems happen during the first breeding season, a replacement bull will be available until the purchased bull’s long-term fertility can be determined. If a bull sustains a breeding injury during the first breeding season, a credit on a future bull purchase will be given. If a bull sustains an injury or fertility issue, we ask that it is evalu- ated and treated immediately by a veterinarian and a report is provided by the veterinarian doing the evaluation. If the vet determines the bull is no longer a fertile and mobile breeder, the following formula will be used to determine credit issued on a future purchase: purchase price - salvage value - $2,500 (if injury related) = credit. Terms of Sale Settlement is to be made on sale day. Cattle will not be released until payment is received. All registered animals will be transferred. One-hun- dred percent revenue-sharing interest is being sold on all bulls with only within-herd semen use being retained. Volume Discounts We are offering discounts on volume purchases of bulls. Ellingson Angus – 2026 Real-World Genetics
Welcome to Ellingson Angus—home of superior, high-performance Angus genetics from one of the industry’s most respected families. It is a pleasure to work with a program that lives every day with its valued customers in mind. The nation’s most respected commercial cattlemen and cattlewomen, along with top-tier purebred breeders, continue to rely on Ellingson Angus as a source of no-nonsense, fault-free genetics.
Repeat customers know and trust that Ellingson genetics are backed by a cowherd where maternal truly means cow power — superior foot quality, ease of fleshing, excellent udder quality and fertility – all without sacrificing power or performance. The powerful set of bulls offered each year is supported by a cowherd that leaves every visitor envious for its uniformity, quality and strong Angus character. These are practical cattle that excel for optimums, not maximums. It takes cow power to make bull power – and you’ll find it at Ellingson Angus. This year’s offering also includes 50 elite spring-bred heifers from the very top of the Ellingson program. These exceptional females are backed by some of the very best maternal matrons in the herd. Deep in quality, many possess true donor-level characteristics, presenting a tremendous opportunity to invest in proven maternal excellence with bred-in power. The 2026 bull offering is the deepest and most uniform set ever assembled. As always, large sire groups will be represented by proven Ellingson sires that consistently add value and deliver high customer satisfaction, including sons of Ellingson Badlands, Ellingson Hi-Range, Ellingson Bold, Ellingson Prolific, Ellingson Brickhouse and Ellingson Chaps. Also selling will be an outstanding group of bulls sired by the heavily used 2025 A.I. sires Ellingson Prosper and Ellingson Lakota, along with an exciting new outcross sire group by Partisover Tradition. More than half of the bulls offered are products of their intensive ET program – delivering genetic uniformity that adds extra pounds of payweight. The outlook for 2026 and beyond is as promising as we’ve ever seen in the cattle business. Now more than ever, it is time to position your program with the right genetic investment – and those genetics will be found at Ellingson Angus. We hope to see you in St. Anthony, N.D., on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, for this outstanding event. If I can assist you in any way, please don’t hesitate to call me at (918) 510-3464. 2026 Ellingson Angus Real-World Genetics Production Sale Catalog
Really unlike any Angus sire in the market today, Prosper has been utilized in numerous and diverse programs across the country – a testament to his com- plete-trait package and powerful phenotype. The Prosper sons are consistently wide muzzled and dense muscled and have a robust body type. They have high-octane performance, an ideal growth curve and the stature to sire both high-valued feeder cattle and range cows built for the long haul. His Pathfinder donor dam had superior produc- tion and fertility and a first-class, feminine look. She is also the dam of Ellingson Navigator, a highly regarded breeding sire. We believe the stockman’s build and pounds-
heavy phenotype the Prosper sire group possess will be appreciated. Therefore, we plan to offer many more sons in the future. He is owned with Genex Beef. Left: Ellingson Navigator, Prosper’s maternal brother and the second-high-selling bull in 2023, going to Katus X7 Ranch.

Ellingson Prosper 5304 is one of our favorite bulls of the offering. He pairs the stoutness and added pounds of his sire with the exceptional structural integrity and authentic Angus breed character of Badlands into an eye-appealing package. He bends the performance curve with top 10 percent weaning and top 20 percent yearling growth paired with ma- ture size that ranks in the bottom half of the breed. Coleman Entze bought a maternal brother in last year’s sale.
As a near replica of his powerhouse sire, the added mass and fleshing ease of Lot 35 should allow him to hold his condition well in the breeding pasture. His Pathfinder dam has a production nursing ratio of 5/107, a yearling ratio of 3/105 and a ribeye ratio of 3/111. Engineered with a strong emphasis on stoutness and overall power, Ellingson Prosper 5515 has a pedigree that should allow him to make an impact on the pounds and carcass value of a cowherd. His genomic profile ranks him amongst the best of the entire Angus population for weaning weight, heel depth, heifer pregnancy, maternal calving-ease, carcass weight, marbling and ribeye area. His dam needs no intro- duction, as her sons are featured in five different sire groups in this offering. Maternal brothers are working for B&D Herefords and Angus, Simenson Land and Cattle, A5 Cattle Company, Chad and Kane Stevenson, Little Timber Farms, Tony Borba and Brenden Laugsand.
Thumbs up for the next generation of the beef cattle industry! Pictured are (L to R) Logan Schmidt, Riley Schwartzbauer and Tucker Schwartzbauer at last year’s sale. Their families are long-time Ellingson Angus customers and friends.

Ranking as one of the stoutest and heaviest weight-per- day-of-age bulls of the entire offering, Ellingson Prosper 5003 will stand out in the crowd on sale day. His genetic credentials should allow him to drastically drive explosive early growth and shear substance in your next calfcrop. His maternal brothers are working for Diamond Cross Ranch, Mike Rogstad and Lucas Holzer, while two of his maternal sisters are producing right here in our herd.

Well balanced both genotypically and phenotypically, Lot 48 has the ability to positively influence the economically relevant traits for commercial cattle ranchers. His donor dam has earned esteemed Pathfinder and donor status. His maternal brother, Ellingson Profound 2125, was the standout high-seller of his calfcrop and has matured into an impressive breeding sire for Lindskov’s LT Ranch. Other maternal brothers have been selected by Dion and Michelle Ottmar, Gottsch Cattle Company, Stroh Hereford Ranch, Roger Aberle and Phil Volk.
Ellingson Prosper 5296 is a three-quarter brother to Lots 47 and 48. He provides an added degree of muscle shape and stands down on superior hoof structure. His Koupal Juneau 797 dam has recorded a production birth ratio of 6/98, a nursing ratio of 6/100 and a yearling ratio of 3/103. Lot 49’s maternal brother was selected by Brian George in last year’s production sale. We currently have three maternal sisters producing right here in our cowherd.

Ellingson Prosper 5436’s length of spine and extra skeletal outline should translate into more pounds to sell at weaning and feeder cattle that have more gain potential in the feedlot. His dam is a maternal sister to Ellingson Aquifer 9137, the second-high-selling bull in our 2020 production sale to Rust Mountain View Ranch. The bull has proven himself as a commercial friendly breeding piece. A maternal brother is working for John and Amy Lord.

Lot 51 is another Prosper son you will appreciate for his length of body. His dam stems from the famous Sitz Ev- erelda Entense 1905 donor dam and excels for traits such as fertility, doability and foot and udder structure, which should in turn cement her place on the ranch for years to come. Maternal brothers to Lot 51 have been selected by Diede Ranch, Penrhos Farms, Lower Brule Farms and Brian Kraus, while an easy-keeping maternal sister is working here in our cowherd.
One of the most important factors to evaluate when selecting your future herdbull is the mother he comes from. Rest assured that Lot 52 comes from one of our very best – a beautifully constructed Boyd Cowboy daughter that has continued to produce well into her teens. Maternal brothers have been selected in the past by Dion and Michelle Ottmar, Joe and Hope Wagner and Brian Kraus.
