They originate from the top of the respective calfcrops from Steve and Kim Bruski, Jeff Hornbacher and Pete Bauman – all long-tenured Ellingson customers. Mike and Dottie cull their heifers as rigorously as anyone you will find, ensuring a problem-free, front-end product. They are especially particular on docility, which is evident when you walk through the heifers. The heifers are all carrying the service of the excit- ing, up-and-coming sire Statement, who is owned by Mike and Dottie. He is proven to have heifer-safe calving ease and progeny with accelerated early growth. The bred heifers are sired by sons of Chaps, Aquifer, On Point, Commissioner, Three Rivers and Homegrown.
