Welcome to Ellingson Angus and thank you for taking the time to study this year’s offering. We sincerely appreciate your interest and confidence in our program. Whether you are a long-time cus- tomer or attending for the first time, we look forward to visiting with you and hosting you at the ranch on Feb. 7. The beef industry is currently in an encouraging and optimistic position. Strong cattle prices, steady demand for high-quality beef and renewed confidence throughout the supply chain continue to reward disciplined management and sound genetics. We believe the future is bright for producers who focus on efficiency, fertility and long-term productivity, and those principles remain the foundation of our program. At Ellingson Angus, our cowherd is the cornerstone of everything we do. Decades of strategic breeding and strict culling have shaped a herd built for real-world functionality. Traits such as fleshing ability, sound feet and udders, fertility, disposition and longevity are essential to profitability. While we value performance data and EPDs, we never lose sight of the fact that cattle must work under practical conditions. Our sale offering reflects that philosophy and provides access to proven, functional genetics in volume. Customer service has always been a priority
for our family, and our commitment does not end when the sale is over. We work hard to support our customers beyond the auction, including assisting with marketing feeder calves, bred heifers and open heifers that trace back to Ellingson genetics. We are proud to work alongside customers whose cattle consistent- ly top the market, and we are always willing to help connect buyers, provide background information or discuss marketing strategies. Your success is directly tied to ours. This year’s sale features a deep, uniform set of bulls backed by generations of maternal strength, along with an outstanding selection of females. This offering reflects both the direction of our program and the needs of today’s commercial cattle industry – cattle built for efficiency, consistency and long-term returns. Whether your goals include improving calving ease, strength- ening maternal value or adding pounds and uniformity to your calfcrop, we are confident you will find cattle that fit your opera- tion. A significant portion of this year’s offering comes from our embryo transfer program, providing access to seedstock from our most elite females and offering many full brothers. We invite you to join us Feb. 7 to view the cattle, ask questions and enjoy the fellowship that makes the sale one of our favorite days of the year. Don’t hesitate to reach out if we can be of help. ~ Chad Ellingson
