This big-bodied Lakota son is practically sized to optimize growth while still siring females geared to thrive in for- age-based situations. His DNA profile grades him amongst the best of the Angus breed for calving-ease direct, PAP, heifer pregnancy, maternal calving-ease and tenderness. A maternal sister is retained in our bred heifer replacement pen and is due with an early A.I. calf
Here is a large-testicled Lakota son that should upscale skel- etal size for most outfits. His dam is produced from multiple generations of Pathfinder dams and is a maternal sister to a herd icon, EA Emblynette 0198, who has numerous sons offered in this sale. A maternal brother was selected by Dick and Jessica Woodbury as a part of last year’s offering.

Lot 64’s dam by Sitz Barricade 632F is one of the most pic- turesque cows on the ranch. She is ultra-feminine, soft in her rib and has one of the best udders. Lot 64’s maternal brother, Ellingson LeDoux, was the second-top-selling bull in our 2025 production sale, selling to Belvin Angus and being heavily implemented back through our program via A.I. and embryo transplant.
Ellingson Lakota 5311 is a more conservatively framed indi- vidual that is extra wide down his top and as easy fleshing as they come. His natural dimension is verified by an impres- sive ribeye area EPD that ranks him in the top one-third of the Angus breed. That is right in line with many others in this offering, as it is a point of emphasis for us when making mating decisions. Lot 65 will be suitable for use on virgin heifers.

Those searching for a commercial heifer A.I.-project prospect should give serious consideration to Lot 66. Ellingson Lakota 5028 is wide hipped and big testicled with distinct Angus breed character. He shows strong promise to be a reliable calving-ease sire safe for virgin heifers, to sire baby calves that possess the vigor to get up and find colostrum shortly after being born and to yield appropriately sized daughters built for a commercial environment. These are critical fea- tures for those breeding and calving heifers in the Northern Plains.
Ellingson LeDoux, a maternal brother to Lot 64.
