BECAUSE OF YOUR SUPPORT, TPT:
Our Mission and Vision
• SPARKS CONVERSATIONS. Storytelling is a powerful way to bring communities together, encourage empathy, and highlight issues and topics that are important to our audiences. Over the last year, TPT shared stories across our state and nation that sparked community conversations, addressed systemic inequities, and supported social change. • FOSTERS LEARNING. Education is core to TPT’s mission. TPT created programming and community outreach that engaged children, empowered educators, supported caregivers, and fostered life- long learning. • PROMOTES COMMUNITY. By celebrating local communities, places, and spaces, sharing perspectives, and providing essential information, TPT encouraged viewers to support local artists and cultural institutions, participate in civic affairs, and stay informed on essential health and safety issues. • SUPPORTS CONNECTION. Through programming, resources, and events, TPT brought communities together, encouraged shared learning and understanding, highlighted diverse perspectives, and created opportunities for children and families to play and learn together. • SERVES AUDIENCES. TPT is committed to harnessing the latest technology to increase accessibility and better serve our diverse audiences. From creating award-winning digital content to investing in new and exciting technology, TPT ensures that audiences have access to the content they want and need on their preferred platforms.

Letter from Sylvia Strobel
OUR COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION, EQUITY, AND ACCESSIBILITY (IDEA) We are committed to advancing IDEA across all levels of our organization. To do this, we are working to increase our representational diversity, create welcoming and inclusive environments for our staff and community members, ensure our content and programming is accessible, and include the voices and experiences of Black communities, Indigenous communities, communities of color, LGBTQIA+ communities, disabled communities, and other historically marginalized groups in all that we do. We are committed to allocating the time, resources, and effort necessary to create a more equitable future for our organization. We seek to connect, engage, inform, and reflect our audiences through trusted programming that is accessible to all.
