Shell Falls, a waterfall that cascades between steep rock walls far below the extensive boardwalk system that has been built for visitors at the top. Once on the western side of the Bighorn Scenic Byway we took a turn to visit Bighorn Canyon. Bighorn Canyon seems as deep as the Bighorn Mountains are tall, and we marveled at the contrast between the snowy peaks of the mountain passes we had just summited and the tight bends and curves of the Bighorn River carving a twisting route far below us. If your RV travels take you to northern Wyoming, be sure to spend some time in the Bighorns. Even after two visits we feel like we've just scratched the surface of all there is to see.
