Japanese auto maker Toyota has a complete array of light vehicles to offer Canadian motorists, including small and big cars, hybrids, SUVs, and light trucks. Their collection starts with the diminutive Yaris, a popular sub-compact available as a two-door coupe, a ¿ve-door hatchback, or a four-door sedan. Many people choose the recently retouched compact Corolla, a Canadian-made front-wheel driven sedan powered by a very thrifty four-cylinder engine. Another attractive Toyota car is the Prius, a ¿ve-door hatchback hybrid-electric. The intermediate-sized Camry is also available with a hybrid con¿guration, as will be other models in the future. And what about the Venza? This crossover could very the mid-sized Highlander, recently refreshed and available as a hybrid model. People looking for a sturdier 4x4 SUV to do off-road excursions need go no further than the completely redone 4Runner, also offered as a two-door retro-styled SUV, called the FJ Cruiser. The biggest SUV by Toyota has to be the mighty Sequoia, a full-sized 4x4 station wagon that can pull some of the heaviest trailers. well be considered as the station-wagon version of the Camry. Let’s not forget the slightly big- ger Avalon, a front-wheel drive full-sized sedan that was recently redesigned.
