ILLUMINATED through grand floor-to-ceiling windows, the new Jones Wing on Grace Street Hill will welcome and open new vistas to our Harrisonburg community, the Shenandoah Valley and the wider world.
SITUATED STRATEGICALLY ON THE QUAD, the Carrier Library of 2026 and beyond will become the intellectual and physical crossroads of campus, dedicated to preserving the earliest ways of sharing knowledge, exploring the most innovative approaches to discovery, and forging ties to scholars, media and cultures around the globe. It will be a modern and welcoming place that embodies the university’s evolution into a national research institution while honoring its rich history and undergraduate focus. Faculty, students and community members will gather here to pursue, create and share knowledge for the common good.
