MEET OUR PHYSICIAN LEADER Allison Kessler, MD, MSc
As Section Chief of the Renée Crown Center for Spinal Cord Innovation, Dr. Kessler directs attending physicians to ensure high-quality, interdisciplinary care of patients with spinal cord injury (SCI) — overseeing the adoption of evidence- based interventions and clinically relevant innovations. Dr. Kessler is board-certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) and SCI Medicine. She is the Associate Director of Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s SCI Medicine Fellowship. She holds an appointment at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine as Assistant Professor in the Department of PM&R.
