Overall Purpose • To provide a first-class service to the Club for Building Surveying and Project Management.To work closely with the Estates Executive identifying Projects developing specifications and then procuring as may be required. • Liaise with a range of property professionals including Architects, Surveyors, and Local authority personnel for matters of planning. • Manage forward maintenance register, including liaison with Building Manager where appropriate and use our CAFM system to provide a comprehensive, budget costed plan of forwarding maintenance and replacement, Fabric and Mechanical and Electrical. • Provide a service to Club Members attending Committee Meetings minute taking and advising Specific Duties and Responsibilities • The role is par t of a small team so close team working is a prerequisite. It will be necessary to cross over disciplines and managerial areas to support and advise where required. • Once items are identified for work the post holder will draft and prepare specifications and schedule for work including contractual requirements using standard forms.Where large complex projects are required then drafting project briefs with appropriate main contractor terms and then selecting contractors for tendering process manage and deliver. • Manage database of Operation and Maintenance Manuals (O&Ms) and database drawings bringing up to a quality useable resource. • The Club will deliver a comprehensive forward plan of new buildings and extensive upgrade work to existing properties.This post holder will work closely to ensure existing Club buildings are considered in the wider context of planning and design of any new space. • Health and Safety Management (H&S). Assist in the overall management of H&S to ensure the Club operates safely and delivers a comprehensive approach to H&S. Specifically the postholder will be responsible for managing the Club’s Fire Risk Assessment and Asbestos Management Plan.These are larger items and require significant input to plan works over the next period. • Take an active par t in managing and developing the Club’s Environmental Policy.This will include working toward Zero Carbon, taking part in regular sustainability drives and initiatives to ensure realistic targets are set monitored, and achieved repor ting as required. • Take the lead in delivering the Club’s commitment to performance Standard ISO14001.This will include ensuring quality control of documentation as well as forward planning and leading on the annual audit process. Finally, make sure the standard and achievements made are published throughout the Club as may be appropriate. • Ensure at all times emphasis on delivering value for money to the Club. Continually seek and explore new ways of delivery and working t ensure the Club take maximum advantage of new technologies and process to provide a better service to our Members. • Manage the receipt and monitoring of utility invoices/spend with the Buildings Manager, preparing repor ts to reflect spend and performance.
