at the precise time of need. The final point among many I want to bring to your attention con cerns the fact that the Holy Spirit reveals to us Christ and things to come. If you want to know the Sav iour better, and I trust you do, the Holy Spirit will fill this longing de sire and need. He will direct you to the one who is in trouble, sorrow or grief. You don’t know who is saved and who is lost, but the Spirit of God does, and He will never lead you in the wrong direction. If you want to be a soul-winner, go to the Lord, asking the Holy Spirit to be your guide, controlling your body which is His, that all might be done and said to the glory of the Saviour’s holy name. ........................ - .............................................................................. .................................................. .. matter how eloquent he may be, can do it in his own power. The Spirit alone convicts a man of his sin against God, pointing out that his whole nature is opposed to the Lord. If a man dies in his sins, he cannot go to heaven but rather has condemned himself to hell (John 3:18). It is the Holy Spirit who brings the Word of God to mind. You may have a good memory but there are a lot of things you can’t remember. Have you ever wondered why it is that we seem to recall things we don’t want to remember while we so quickly forget that which is really important?
