“In the Gardens of Giverny: Inspiring the Art of Claude Monet” presented by Carol Jonson Wednesday, March 30, 2022 * 2:00 PM * Large Card Room
The Impressionist master, Claude Monet, is one of the world’s most beloved artists. Monet planted gardens wherever he lived, but his masterpiece was Giverny, where he spent more than half of his long and very productive life. The beautiful gardens he created at Giverny were a never-ending source of inspiration for Monet as we will discover in this class by looking at photos of the gardens and how Monet translated them into beautiful works of art. This presentation is FREE . Please RSVP to Lifestyle. Carol Jonson has been an adjunct faculty member at University of Detroit, Davenport University and Oakland Community College in Michigan, and at Hodges and Barry universities in Naples, Florida.
