speaks of the Lord whom he served with quiet devotion. The prayers of Institute friends will be appreciated by Mrs. Pike and the two daughters in their time of be reavement. OUR LITERATURE TABLE Worship in Song E dited by A. T. H ardy This recent compilation of 325 standard hymns and gospel songs is true to its title; a spirit of worship is predominant through out. The purpose and the power of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the theme of the collection, making it suit able for worship and evangelistic services. Combined with a large proportion of the older well-known hymns, this hymnal con tains exceptionally strong numbers from among the new, spirited gospel songs. It features also some of the later choruses which are successfully used with young people and children. Several arrange ments of duets and solos make the book helpful for special church music. The format of this attractive hymnal assures its welcome reception in the pew. Bound in durable rich cloth, the book will give long wear and good service. It is equipped with a complete topical and gen eral index. The type is large and clear, and the musical notes are exceptionally legible. 287 pages. Light and Life Press, Winona Lake, Ind. Cloth. Single .copy, price 55 cents; paper, 40 cents. Ralph Norton and the Belgian Gospel Mission B y th e L ate E dith F. N orton In October, 1934, Ralph Norton, one of the greatest soul-winners of this genera tion, went Home. On July 19, 1936, his de voted wife who had been continuing in ser vice in Belgium, followed him into the presence of the Saviour. Mr. Norton’s death occurred in Belgium, his beloved adopted land, to which he had been led, with Mrs. Norton, by means of extraordi nary experiences during and following the World War. With exceptional business abil ity, a flair for friendliness, and a passion for evangelism, he was a unique figure whom God used for a great work.
