DANIEL’ S DESK LOW

Dear Members,

We continue to prioritize training, and our local team is fully trained in the Pavilion and preparing for the transition to the Clubhouse. This group will also play a key role in training the international team upon their arrival later this month. Half of the international staff are expected in the first week of October, with the remainder arriving in the third week. In total, more than 100 international staff will join us for the upcoming season. Planning is underway to ensure smooth logistics, including housing, transportation to and from the Clubhouse, and helping all team members feel settled and welcomed. We are also pleased to share the north side of the Fitness Center and Spa is open. Members will notice the new equipment, the new flooring, the brighter colors on the wall, the wood grain furniture, live plants for improved oxygen circulation, and a different flow in the interior layout. The new layout gives us the ability to offer private training rooms, virtual training rooms, a dedicated stretch space, a dedicated free-weight area, the return of the group fitness studio, more strength and training equipment and a lot more technology integration.

As we approach kicking off the 2025-26 season, we have several exciting updates to share with our members this month. We have begun receiving items purchased for the new Clubhouse. Plates and glassware for all dining venues are now on site. The Sports Bar has received custom butcher boards for serving burgers, each branded with the Frenchman’s Creek logo. New pint glasses have also arrived for the Sports Bar, with the FC logo imprinted on the bottom and visible with every sip. Placemats for both the Sports Bar and Greenside are also now on site. In April, I asked the management team to develop operations manuals for each dining venue, as well as for Housekeeping and Concierge. I provided the overall vision and guidance, and over the past six months our managers have been working diligently to complete this significant undertaking. Some of the manuals exceed 150 pages, reflecting the level of detail required to deliver industry-leading hospitality to our membership. Once the Clubhouse opens and we better understand usage patterns, we will review each manual and make updates as needed.

These renovation changes have been part of this off-season’s updates, followed by enhancements
