The Current | October 2025

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE CURRENT

This October marks a special milestone for Frenchman’s Creek Marketing & Communications: the first birthday of The Current , our monthly community newsletter. What began in October 2024 as a new way to expand on the refreshed FC brand quickly became the community staple to share updates, stories, and news. And now, we’re celebrating its 12th issue— an entire year of bringing members closer to the heart of the community. Over the past twelve months, The Current has become more than just a newsletter. It’s become a touchpoint for members, staff, and committees to stay informed and engaged. From clubhouse transformation updates to wellness programming, special event spotlights, and behind-the-scenes features on the people who make Frenchman’s Creek exceptional, each issue has offered something new to discover. “The strategic vision behind The Current was to create an informative, enjoyable and reliable resource that celebrates the people of our community,” said Christy Heady, Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications, and the ideologist behind The Current . “We’re proud to see how much it has grown into a monthly highlight for so many.” In addition to its articles, The Current has given members a convenient way to keep track of events, explore new services, and even revisit community traditions. Many readers have shared that they look forward to each issue to stay connected, especially during the fast-paced season. As The Current celebrates its first birthday, the newsletter’s journey is only just beginning. Plans for the year ahead include expanded digital features, more interactive content, and even more stories that capture the vibrancy of Frenchman’s Creek life. As this publication continues to grow,

please keep The Current in mind. From career milestones to positive reflections, and all the moments at the Creek in between, we encourage all members to submit articles for review by the editorial board. From its first issue to its twelfth, The Current has lived up to its name—keeping members in the flow of what matters most. Here’s to another year of communication, connection, and celebrating the community we share.

Best,
