Ablaze Spring 2024

I have an old radio. A childish one it is - pure black with smooth dials and white numbers. An antenna that sticks up far, yet does nothing too helpful. Child me was gleaming, but adult me doesn’t even know the branded company of the device or why I had kept it in the first place. Do I use it? No - Used to Will I ever? Yes - I want to - music wise - Memories Polycarbonate plastic disks made a small collection over the past years. Skillet Black Sabbath The Rolling Stones The Beatles White album from my attic Screw Youtube and Spotify - Bring back the basics - Put on a CD or Vinyl No music? Well perhaps just the news, weather or the static that fuzzes your brain will be satisfactory. The right channel is still in existence,

A channel that still publishes older music. Of course it may not be important to some - Those who are updated like technology - But radios bring joy to many. To broadcast the oldies To bring people together by the daily news The slight touch of a delicate fingertip - One push of a small button on a radio system The run of a radio wave News - Music - The voice of a president! Then - And Now Promise not to go silent my dear little radio For my sanity needs you

We need you - Oh little radio…
