Types of Employees in the Workplace

Have you ever worked for a company and felt unappreciated because you watch other employees not working as hard as you? Well, that’s because not everyone has the same work ethic. Some work harder than others and others not at all. There are different types of people who enter the work force which can be determined by how one performs at work. This can be classified into three different category’s which are The Money Makers, The Slackers, and The Enthusiasts.
The first category is The Money Makers which are known for their drive for financial gain and antisocial behavior. They do not complain and simply focus on completing their work to return home. For example, this category is quiet and keeps to themselves. Their only priority is receiv - ing a paycheck. There are advantages and disadvantages to this specific category. Their ability to listen and follow instructions is a significant advantage. However, their
attendance is inconsistent due to callouts or overtime, making them unreliable. They tend to do bare minimum and never offer help to anyone unless asked. The second category is The Slackers which are known for being lazy and unreliable. This category is known for their carelessness, selfishness, and uselessness. For example, they only ever do the bare minimum which is just enough to get through the work shift. They have consistent tardiness and early departure which results in unfinished assignments, which are then assigned to others. It is unfair to work hard and get more tasks due
