How we create value

What we use We aim to give the best to our collaborators by placing their happiness and satisfactionat the centre of all our endeavours. As a responsible employer, our efforts are directed towards the development of our Human Capital by promoting equal genderworkforceparticipation.Weoffer a rewardingpackage, i.e. decent remuneration and employment conditions aswell as enhanced career prospects through learning and devel- opment, coaching and on-the-job training, among others. We maintain regular communication with collaborators through different platforms. The Trimetys Group strives to foster teamwork and a sharing culture while providing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Committees, adherence to safety rules andhealth surveillance programmes.We also ensure that all collaborators areprovid- ed with adequate job-related information, instructions and trainingaswell as regular communicationon relevantmatters. COVID-19 has acceleratedmany of our staff iniatives, such as our work-from-home programme, and today we are happy to see the success of such a program with many staff using the flexiblity of work fromhome but still maintaining a high productivity output. What comes out All our initiatives have, in line with our Values, contributed to a “HAPPY” workforce of more than 300 collaborators by delivering more efficient HR services, providing them with the opportunity to grow in their respective positions and employee recognition, amongothers. There is a strengthened teamspirit with awork environment wheremutual trust and convivialityprevail. It isworthmentioning that therehavebeen nomajor industrial relations issues and accidents at work to date. We have also noted increased employee engagement through in-house and external competitions and events. In February 2021, Our Executive Chef and a team member participated in the “Tournée Rodriguaise”, a Rodriguan culi- nary experience tour in Mauritius. Value created Our HumanCapital improvement andempowerment efforts have contributed to the value creationprocess throughbetter teamperformances and improvedproductivity. Talent acqui- sition has improved inmultiple ways; enhanced recognition fromseveral awards andaccolades has alsopositively impact- ed our brand awareness and reputation.

We have also started the implementation of our Code of Ethics during the year under review.

It is important to note that we have had a rise in labour costs following changes in Labour Law in late 2019 and in 2020. Furthermore, the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted our Group but we have maintained employment at all levels despite a slowdown in some business activities. Our strategy Our key strategies concerning our Human Capital are based on our continuing efforts to attract potential talent to meet our business needs. We have engaged in recruitment at vari- ous levels to add value to our teamwhile providing learning and development opportunities to existing collaborators. We offer medical insurance cover across the Group except for Rodrigues, where private medical services are not yet available. Moreover, our private pension plan is already in place across the Group. We also regularly organise welfare activities to create an efficient and happy workforce. In terms of safety and health, we strive to ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety & Health Act and other local legislations. Our Safety & Health Officer monitors risks and work conditions through regular worksite inspections, risk assessments, timely reporting of incidents, Safety & Health
