T he Board of Directors of Trimetys Ltd (the “Compa- ny”) is pleased to present the Corporate Gover- nance Report of the Company for the year ended 31 December 2020. This section explains the gover- nance framework within the Company and the measures taken to ensure compliance with the eight principles and recommendations of the National Code of Corporate Gover- nance for Mauritius 2016 (the “Code”) during the year under
review. TheCompany recognises the importance of applying suchprinciples and recommendations and the role they play within an organisation. Their implementation is viewed as essential to assess the Group’s structure and procedures, permitting it to work towards an optimal standard of gover- nance. Trimetys Ltd is a private limited liability company incorporated in Mauritius and a Public Interest Entity (PIE) as defined by Law.

Since in April 2021, the State Investment Corporation Limited (SIC) became a shareholder in the Company after acquiring 5.71% of the shares of the Company.
The new shareholding structure of the Company is shown on pages 12 and 13 of this Annual Report.
