Clark Charolais
David Clark, 410-924-3521, sfcdjc@outlook.com
The Clark Charolais herd was started in 1968 and our present day herd is heavily based on one of the original females that excelled for performance. Her family continues to earn the right to stay in the program all these years due to these traits. We strive to breed correct, good looking performance cattle and we are also paying close attention to fertility and carcass traits. Our cattle are ready to work hard for you.

DC Blackjack 064 is built for commercial beef production at a high level. Five genomic EPD traits in the top 10% of the breed (YW, CW, TSI, RibEye, Marbling). He got these tools by having his three-generation pedigree stacked with great carcass bulls that have all been featured as sires in this sale since it began. Homozygous Polled.

Lot 31 is a bull I recommend if you want to dip your toes into the Charolais pool for the first time. He’s a very smoothly made bull that has plenty of growth, muscle, and eye appeal. I also recommend this bull for fertility and longevity. His dam was 14 when he was born and calved again at 15 years old at a 362 day calving interval. Dam is a great milking cow. He is line bred on both sides of his pedigree to cattle we have had in our herd since 1968.
