World Earth Day! School celebrates.
WARRIORS STORM
Year 4 pupils at Abbey made headlines when they staged a passionate climate change protest during a special “non- electricity day”! Armed with bold posters, eye-catching signs and handmade badges, the children marched with a powerful message: protect the planet. Chanting loudly, the determined pupils called for action on pollution, energy use and waste. Classrooms buzzed with creativity as children designed slogans to spread their green message. Mrs Vickers, one of the class teachers, praised the effort, saying, “We can all work together to save our world.” This week Abbey also celebrated World Earth Day on April 22nd 2026, proving these young voices were loud, proud— and ready to make a difference!
