THE

Royal artists - double edition! Gallery exhibition part 2

ARTFUL TWO Over the Summer, Miles (6F) and Clara (3H) had their paintings selected to be exhibited at the RBSA Gallery (Royal Birmingham Society of Artists). It was an exhibition of artwork by young people locally. They were so excited to see their work up in a proper gallery!

Thank you to Miles and Clara’s mum for the story.

[Ed - Fab! Abbey is taking over!]

COMPETITION TWO Nuala Reddin’s painting, ‘Happy Somerset Horse’ in the Black Country, 2025, was chosen to be shown in the RBSA Young Artists Exhibition. She used acrylic paints and coloured pencils to create a picture of her horse, which lives at her grandparents’ farm in Somerset. Nuala imagined what it would be like if the horse travelled to her home in Bearwood, combining her two favourite places in one picture.

Thanks to Nuala’s mum for the story.

[Ed - I’m blown away and so proud of all the kids who worked hard to get their work out]
