1. OBERGESCHO
On leaving the school, the impression remains that this is an exemplary achievement. Instead of superficial, sensationalist, spectacular architecture, the convincing buildings stand out with unob- trusive, quiet solutions that have nevertheless been thought through right down to the very last detail. Detailed records were kept of the pilot project sponsored by the DBU (German Federal Environmental Foundation) and all the experience gained with the project has been put in the public domain to make it accessible for every planner. And so there are good chances that the grammar school in Diedorf may be replicated elsewhere.
