A near fine copy with ownership inscription to front endpaper, in a very good dustwrapper with a large price clip, two small holes towards the base of the spine, and a shallow chip to the head of the spine. [44628] £650 Narayan’s second book, and the second in his semi-autobio- graphical trilogy following ‘Swami and Friends’, ‘The Bachelor of Arts’ was published with the help of his lifelong friend Gra- ham Greene, who penned the introduction for this novel.
