Inspired by the beauty of nature, we’ve honed our pigment-dye process into a fine art that pays homage to the shades of the natural world, crafting a rich expressiveness that improves with time. The process begins with crushed color molecules that bind to the fabric. Garments are then washed multiple times, resulting in weathered tones and subtle shades that continue to soften with wear, transforming a simple tee into a look that’s pure lived-in comfort.
For colors that stay fast and garments that hold true, our direct/ reactive-dye process delivers full, bold saturation. We achieve this by taking our ultra-soft, prewashed cotton tees and completely imbuing themwith color. Once dyed, they’re put through a process equivalent to 50 wash cycles. The result is vivid color that lasts and an incredibly comfortable tee that won’t shrink or lose its shape.

DECORATING TECHNIQUES
HEAT TRANSFER PRINTING Heat transfer involves combining heat and pressure to transfer images to garments. This is a great option for detailed prints, customization, shorter runs and quick turnaround times.
EMBROIDERY Embroidery is sewing a design, type or logo onto a garment with special thread. This technique gives garments a higher perceived value and works particularly well on heavier weight garments such as fleece.
LASER CUT APPLIQUÉ A laser cut appliqué is created by using a laser to cut either fine detail or a rough raw edge into single or multiple layers of fabric which are then sewn onto the garment.
FOIL PRINTING Foil printing is a premium process that gives decorated items an attention-grabbing metallic shimmer. It’s a highly effective way to add a bright accent to a garment for maximum shine and impact.
DISCHARGE PRINTING Discharge printing is a form of screen printing that uses a water-based catalyzed ink for the creation of softer prints on predominantly cotton garments.
SCREEN PRINTING Screen printing (or silk screening) is a technique that uses stencils and ink to create designs on garments. It is the most economical method for producing large quantities that involve cotton or cotton-blend garments.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS Due to the nature of the dyeing process employed with Comfort Colors ® pigment dyed shades, loose pigments may remain on the surface of the garments. We therefore strongly recommend washing these garments only with like-colored garments, as some of the pigment dyes may stain light or white colored garments in the wash cycle. Washing the garments in cold water will reduce the possibility of staining.
