America, the latter part of January or early in February. Their destination is La Vic toria, where Mr, David Finstrom has con ducted an independent mission for some seventeen years. Mr. Finstrom was a pupil in- Superintendent Horton’s Bible School in St. Paul and has conducted a very suc cessful work. Mr. Eddings graduated from the Bible Institute of Los Angeles last June and is the retiring President of- the Fishermen’s Club. He has proven a faithful, zealous and competent worker and is w ell.qualified for service. Mr. Morgan graduated from the School in December. For two years he has assisted Mr. Lewis in conducting one of the shop meetings. He has been identi fied with the Fishermen’s Club and has worked a good deal with the Yoke Fel lows.

V E R N O N M O R G A N for the evangelization of Africa, and the Orient, the vast continent of South Amer ica, with 45,000,000 of Romanists and pagan aborigines has been almost totally neglected. This whole population is practically “with out God and without hope in the world.” But interest is now being awakened to this needy field, or rather world at our doors, just beyond our threshold now marked by the interoceanic canal, and the Bible Insti tute of' Los Angeles rejoices in dispatching two worthy, young messengers of the cross to lay hold on the work. The . “ Christianity” implanted in South America ,400 - years ago was that against which the Reformers revolted—a “baptized paganism,” religion divorced from morality; a practical atheism which is now rapidly passing into theoretical atheism. It is a critical moment. Mr. Van V. Eddings and Mr. Vernon V. Morgan expect to sail for Venezuela, South
