IMPROVING THE SMU FUSE UNITS ASSEMBLY LINE At S&C, we are committed to continuously improving our work and processes. S&C team members in Aguascalientes helped improve our SMU line by resolving an issue that caused an average monthly defect rate of 180 units, costing approximately $7,000 monthly. This cross- functional team found a solution and reduced the defect rate to 12 units per month, achieving a 93% scrap reduction and annual cost savings of $78,000. Well done, team! n

SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY CHAIN ALLIANCE CASE STUDY AWARD For the second-consecutive year, S&C has received the Sustainable Supply Chain Alliance case study award!
