BECOME A LIFELONG LEARNER
Study after study has found that the most successful individuals are those who are committed to lifelong learning. They’re constantly looking for ways to improve, change, and evolve. And that is what Convention is all about. No matter what your status or how many years you’ve built a business, you’ll never outgrow Convention. You’ll always leave smarter, more efficient, and better prepared to take your business to the next level. Part of the reason Convention workshops are geared towards specific statuses is because we want to ensure you’re getting information that is relevant and effective for your specific needs and experience. Just remember, the real payoff for all this learning is the action you take after Convention. As the philosopher Herbert Spencer said, “The great aim of education is not knowledge but action.”
LOOK FOR WAYS TO IMPROVE
Convention is the perfect place for deciding to go for it—and getting the knowledge, support, and vision to start strong. Senior Director 8 Sydney Arnold had yet to enroll anyone with Melaleuca when she attended Convention 2017. “I went for the experience,” she says. “I wanted to see what this company was all about. I found that everything Melaleuca is involved with is important to me, and that this company is built on solid principles.” It was during Convention that Sydney made the decision to just go for it. She remembers listening to Melaleuca President McKay Christensen. “He talked about getting off the fence,” she says. “That made me realize that if you don’t do it now, when are you ever going to?”
Not only did Convention create that moment, but over the course of three days she gathered the belief, knowledge, and network of support she needed to get started with confidence. With that foundation, Sydney got to work and built a thriving Senior Director 8 business over the next six months. She’s returning to Convention this year with her team. “Convention’s a game changer!” she tells them.
