Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, students will... l Perform a job safety analysis (JSA) in accordance with NFPA 70E and OSHA l Identify and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) like glasses, gloves, steel toed shoes, face shield with hard hat, and FR clothing l Setup a load bank by properly preparing the work site, securely grounding, laying out cable, and perform a pre-load bank check or inspection checklist. l Perform load bank test procedures to include verification of engine operation and performance, generator performance, calculating load steps, taking accurate readings with meters, and documenting findings. l Performed equipment operational processes at completion of load bank to include safe de-energize procedures, lock-out-tag- out procedures, cable disconnect, and job site clean up.
