December 2020 TPT Member Magazine

DECEMBER 2020

During this season of gratitude, I want to thank all of you, our generous members. This last year has been extraordinary for many reasons, but your continued support has allowed TPT to serve our audiences in new ways — from multi-language health and safety programming on TPT Now, to new A NOTE FROM SYLVIA educational services for our educators, families and kids to public affairs, Minnesota Experience documentaries and performing arts series. This month, we join with our families, friends, and community in new ways to reflect on our lives and celebrate our blessings. We have a wonderful lineup for December, including several local, notable programs: Welcome Christmas with VocalEssence , a holiday special from the historic Plymouth Congregational Church in Minneapolis as well as The St. Olaf Christmas Festival: A New Song of Grace and Truth, one of the oldest musical celebrations of Christmas in the United States, and American Masters: Laura Ingalls Wilder: Prairie to Page , a co-production from Twin Cities PBS, American Masters Pictures, and Mary Murphy & Company, which you can read more about on page 20.
