Joyce has worked for the company since 2000, twelve of those years as Vice President and General Manager at the company’s branch in Brewton, Alabama. Before working for GP, Joyce was employed by Sonoco Products for 14 years, nine of those years in a joint venture with GP. “The Monticello facility is a high capacity, strategic as- set that is vital to the success of GP containerboard and I want to be a part of moving this important asset forward,” said Joyce, who will be managing a workforce of 430 em- ployees at a mill that produces unbleached linerboard pa- per in various weights and grades.
