This impacts their decision-making and ultimately enhances the health and well-being of every person we serve.
Candice L. Saunders, our President and CEO, is a champion of pursuing innovation with personal connection. She has built her career around providing more community access to vital healthcare needs, addressing consumer health issues and improving operational efficiencies. Since she began her career as a registered nurse, she leads with the desire to ensure that Wellstar provides the best patient care and team member experience across our System. Candice sets the tone for our leadership culture by pursuing excellence, honoring every voice and serving with compassion. Those values, coupled with her unwavering dedication to providing world- class healthcare tailored for every person, every time, inspire our team members to also reach toward that vision.
