Warriors host Atoms’ tourney

Last Saturday, Russell Minor Hockey As- sociation was hosting their Atom B Win- terfreeze Tournament. In total, eight teams competed in the A and B levels. The teams came from Leitrim, Nepean, Cornwall, Gloucester and Russell.The win- ners of the A level were the Cornwall Colts, facing off against the Leitrim Hawks. The B level champions were the Russell Warriors B2 who defeated the Russell War- riors B1 in the finals. Both finals were close affairs, with overtime required to decide the winners. Both teams came out victorious in a 3 on 3 overtime.
