The School of Christian Unity The Moody Colportage Association have produced a small book dealing with one of the more recent “ isms” called “ Unity.” C. E. Putnam, the au thor, has carefully studied the doctrines of this sect and gives the result as com pared with the teachings of tne > In the Secret Place. This. timely book on Prayer, by Dr. W. B. Perclval of Pasadena, Calif., has just been issued from the Bible Insti tute Press. While not an expensive volume, it is beautifully printed, and its thoughts on ¡intercession will be ap preciated by all who desire to have power with God. The chapters were formerly run as articles in “ The Wonderful Word” magazine and so many were blessed through them that they have now been combined in book form. Dr. Percival, having lost his physical eyesight, has for some years been shut in with God, and that the Holy Spirit has been speaking to him, no one can doubt who reads this book. Price $1.00 Annotated Bible—Proverbs to Ezekiel. Dr. A. C. Gaebelein has just sent out another volume of his commentary which has been in process of completion for several years. Two volumes re main to be published. Price $1.50. The Bible and Its Enemies. The Bible Institute Colportage Asso ciation, Chicago, have just printed in attractive booklet form this address on the Bible by William Jennings Bryan, which was delivered at the Moody Bible Institute. Mr. Bryan has spoken many strong words in defence of the Scrip tures and many will be glad to circulate this booklet at 25 cents each. Importance and Value of Proper Bible Study The Doran Co. have brought out an other volume by Dr. R. A. Torrey. This volume contains a series of sermons given by Dr. Torrey in his church in Los Angeles. He tells in simple lan guage how the Bible should be studied so that the great truths of Christianity may be clearly understood. This vol ume will be especially helpful to young Christians who have not as yet learned how to use the Bible. Cloth $1.00.
