Lately I ’ve heard that everyone would live in heaven. Which is correct? A. The tribulation saints ultimately wil be in heaven with all of the re­ deemed. What will be taking place during the intermediate period be­ tween the Tribulation and the Millen­ nium involves speculation. Strangely enough in recent years this passage has been taken by groups of people, in some instances entire de­ nominations, and set as the standard for believers in this dispensation. Such teaching is in error. The church is nowhere indicated as the spiritual successor of Israel, nor is it a “store­ house.” Certainly those who advocate storehouse tithing are not willing that believers today should carry through even unto “fine wine and strong drink” as a portion of the tithe for one’s own consumption as is suggested in Deuteronomy. The New Testament norm is found in I Corinthians 16:1, 2. The controlling factor is the pros­ pering hand of God. The tenth is a good place to start, but it is not where we should stop! II Corinthians, chap­ ters eight and nine, are very helpful here, too.
