phase was completed, add on to the system and keep it operating”, Clive said. “So coordination was very important.” Scan Alarms did such a great job at James House that the company was awarded a further contract from PMcK for another client, this time in the South of Ireland. “The Scan team demonstrated they are capable of being able to work on that type of project and in that environment and complete the work on time”, Clive commented. “It is nice to see the guys being proud of what they have done, and it is important to acknowledge the hard work they have accomplished.” Stuart McQuiston, Managing Director, added, “It has been a pleasure working with PMcK on this prestigious project. We look forward to building on what has become a strong partnership in the future.” Accountability Scan Alarms is widely recognised in the Fire and Security industry for providing systems in the retail and commercial market, whilst providing specialist systems to corporate and multi-outlet customers

whose needs are beyond the norm. Since 2020, Scan Alarms has expanded its customer base that requires IP network- based Electronic Security System Integration. It is common within the industry for companies to provide stand-alone Fire, Access, CCTV and Intruder systems. However, over the years Scan Alarms has increasingly provided integration, bringing together all these systems on a common seamless network and software platform. “This allows for cause-and-effect programming to take place with the system being tailored to the individual customer’s requirements,” Clive stated. “This integration also gives the client the ability to have an overview of all their systems at one point; so, if something does happen, they don’t have to check it on separate fire, access, intruder or CCTV head-end controls. The system pulls all the data together and records all the information simultaneously. When action is required, they have a log of who took that action, improving accountability when it comes to security.”
