MGA COMMUNICATION PROVIDED A SERIES OF AV TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS AND PA SYSTEMS FOR THE NEWLY REFURBISHED OFFICE BLOCK… AV SOLUTIONS AND PA SYSTEMS
M GA Communication was selected by PMcK Electrical to provide multiple AV technology systems and a multi-zoned PA system for the newly finished James House in Belfast. The 9,500m 2 office accommodation was completely refurbished for a mixture of administrative and IT businesses. The five-storey building located in the Gasworks also features reception areas and undercroft parking on the ground
floor. The installation provided by MGA comprised approximately 30 rooms, with Polycom Video Conference Soundbar and commercial displays supporting the TEAMS environment. Several rooms received AV touchscreens to allow for divisible spaces. The largest conference room featured three PTZ cameras, in-room audio reinforcement, four 75” displays and a Bosch Conference system supporting up to 26 participants. “Additional features such as press audio feeds and streaming features were built in to allow flexibility for outside broadcasting,” explained Managing Director Aaron McKeown. “The PA system consisted of 35 audio zones that allowed flexibility through the DSP of combining audio zones in the future should the tenant space requirements change.” Touchscreen microphones were also provided at each of the reception
spaces to facilitate emergency messages and broadcasts. MGA Communication is based in Ballynahinch and has been at the forefront of AV technologies since its formation in 1994. They are the choice of many Irish and UK electrical contractors when it comes to providing high-end integrated solutions. Specialising in working to tight deadlines and budgets, the company provides quality installation and after-sales service.
