Make sure the power is applied to the terminals to activate the suppression agent generator. 7) Turn power off at the Disconnect. 8) Reset the fire pull. 9) Turn power back on at the Disconnect. 10) If using a synapse panel, make sure to press the reset FSS button under the fire suppression screen. 11) Use a heat gun to activate the primary heat detectors located in the valve compartment. The behavior should follow the process noted in Table 1. This verifies the heat detector is working. Make sure the power is applied to the terminals to activate the suppression agent generator. 12) Turn power off at the Disconnect. 13) It may take a few minutes for the heat detector to cool down. 14) Turn power back on at the Disconnect. 15) If using a synapse panel, make sure to press the reset FSS button under the fire suppression screen. 16) Repeat steps 11 – 15 for the any additional primary detector if it is present. There will be one per module. 17) Turn power back on at the Disconnect. 18) If using a synapse panel, make sure to press the reset FSS button under the fire suppression screen. 19) Use a heat gun to activate the secondary heat detectors located in the filter compartment. The behavior should follow the process noted in Table 1. This verifies the heat detector is working. Make sure the power is applied to the terminals to activate the suppression agent generator. 20) Turn power off at the Disconnect.
