C LOSING THE F ILTER D OOR Each unit has a filter compartment door to access to the filters. On split units including the BC 24 and larger, both halves of the unit have such a door. These doors are held down using chrome and red latches. The filter compartment door should swing open, allowing access to filters inside the filter compartment. Before closing the filter compartment door, examine the gasket around the opening. Make sure it is properly seated, and that the gasket is undamaged. Swing the filter compartment door closed, and fasten latches.
