BRAHM TM BC Central Collector Series

I NSTALLING THE [O PTIONAL ] D UST T RAYS

NOTE:

On all units, the dust tray must be installed onto the unit before the unit is placed on the stand. This cannot be done after the unit is one the stand. Dust trays are an option and may not have been purchased. When possible, dust trays are installed at the factory.

NOTE:

If purchased, dust tray(s) must be installed. On split units including the BC 24 and larger, each module of the unit has a dust tray. These dust trays must be attached below the filter compartment. As the self- cleaning cycle is activated, dust will be blown from the filters and accumulate in the dust trays. See the 'Maintenance' section for proper servicing of the dust trays. On units including BC 1 – BC 18, install the unit onto the legs before installing the dust tray. On the BC 24 and larger units, the dust tray must be installed onto unit before unit is placed on stand. This cannot be done after unit is on stand. Remove the tray from the dust tray body. Cut 1" flat gasket to fit around the flange on the top of the dust tray body. Gasket lengths vary based on the Brahm™ Collector model. Install the flat gasket around the top flange of the dust tray body, centered on the bolt holes. Using a knife, nut driver, or screw driver, punch holes in the gasket to allow bolts to slide through. Slide the forks of a fork lift truck under the unit. Using the forklift, lift the unit up,

allowing access to the bottom of the unit. Place the dust tray body under the unit. The bottom of the unit has a bolt pattern surrounding a series of openings below the filters. Slide the dust tray under the unit. Looking from below, make sure the dust tray's bolt pattern matches the bolt pattern on the bottom of the unit.
