I NSTALLING THE D UST B INS
NOTE:
Dust Bins are an optional add on and may not have been purchased. Dust Bins are NOT installed at the factory.
If purchased, dust bin(s) must be installed on site. On split units including the BC 24 and larger, each module of the unit has a separate dust bin. These dust bins are placed below the filter compartment and beneath the hoppers. A piece of flex hose is affixed to the bottom of the hopper and connects to the top of the dust bin. As the self-cleaning cycle is activated, dust will be blown from the filters and accumulate fall into the hoppers. Dust then slides down the hoppers to the slide gate. When the slide gate is open, the dust slides out of slide gate, through the flex hose and into the dust bin. Once the unit is fully assembled and operational, place the dust bin under the hopper. Slide the included piece of 6" flex hose over top of the pipe at the bottom of the hopper.
Use the included hose clamp to faster the flex hose to the bottom of the hopper. Use a screwdriver to tighten the worm gear on the hose clamp. Several sizes of dust bins are offered, however, they all install in a similar fashion.
