Common Sense Economics

For all of you who are in sales, God’s Process by Sidney Walker is wonderful information: This is a good place to introduce a powerful concept that is called God’s Selection Process. The idea behind God’s Selection Process is that God gets to decide who your clients are going to be, not you. Your job is to initiate the process, be at your best throughout the process, and trust the results. God needs you to make the calls so you can find the right clients. In this way of thinking, prospecting starts the selection process. In this dualistic reality, to have success, there has to be failure by contrast. In prospecting, to have the right match, you must have situations that are not the right match. Without the contrast, there is no game to play. One of the keys to embracing God’s Selection Process is to rise above the ego’s need to constantly judge and evaluate how you are doing. It doesn’t matter if you are winning or losing. All that’s required of you to engage God’s Selection Process is that you show up and play the game. Make the calls.

“The most successful people are the ones who fail the most.” — Sidney Walker, Financial Coach

QUOTES FROM THE PAST:

“It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.” — Henry Ford
