Think about how much interest we Americans are paying on $34+ trillion of debt. If only interest, that total will be a whopping $10.2 billion. This interest could help educate a lot of children, build a lot of schools, improve our infrastructure, help the homeless, and build a wall. And look, we’re already ahead of the 2024 debt projection. Thank goodness that jobs are being created, which will help generate more tax dollars to help pay off this debt and help meet our government’s future financial liabilities. Regardless of your political preference, we as Americans need to be praying for our President and Congress to work together so that America stays great.
