City of Irvine Local Hazard Mitigation Plan
Verification of events attended and activities conducted should be included in the LHMP planning process discussion. ONLINE AND MEDIA ENGAGEMENT Engagement through online systems and media outlets allows the City to reach a wide audience without requiring extensive effort by staff. Online methods are well suited to receive community input on specific issues and allow participation by those unable to attend in-person. Local media outlets allow the City to easily send out notifications and information that reaches a large segment of the community. There are multiple elements of online and media engagement that will be used during the development of the Irvine LHMP.
