What I did: I gathered the necessary information to complete premium tax returns, computed tax worksheets that tied out to each return, and then input the information into their tax return software. I also did some projects for the income tax department that involved researching state specific tax laws and creating updated schedules of tax fees. What I liked: I enjoyed learning how to use the tax return software and the process for completing premium tax returns. The flexibility in work hours and being able to work independently is something I also enjoyed.
Future Dream Job: Accountant.
