What I did: Collection calls on delinquent accounts, first party lending collection efforts. Outbound and Inbound call efforts to lower delinquency. P roviding empathy and knowledge to all customers in need of assistance. Advising customers on beneficial actions for their accounts to meet a desired outcome. Interest and payment calculations for customers that are struggling. Ex. Calculations on monthly payments for customers that have fallen behind on their payments. Both installment and revolving lines of credit. S trengthening of communication skills. This internship tests one’s ability of composure and builds professionalism. Main payment tracking systems consisted of Excel, Microsoft was used for mailings. A ttempts for communication sent out via text. What I liked: Lending can be and emotionally challenging industry, I increased my own composure and empathy.I have a tremendous amount of newfound knowledge on personal finance. I learned how to collaborate with a team even when the situation can be undesirable. I found out how capable I am of adapting to new software and company changes. Future Dream Job: Not sure at this time, I would like to do marketing for a firm utilizing AI or I would like to work for a company in a position that allows me to utilize my writing skills.
