BASIC INSTALLATION RULES

Set the wire rope AD (dynamic eyelet) on the hose, at a distance LT equal or higher than the LG ferrule length (and in any case not less than 80mm for hoses with outside diameter up to 38-40 mm and 120mm for larger external hose diameters). The LR dimension should be equal or higher than the LG ferrule length. Pull the two ropes ends and, at the same time, place the tensioner T close to the hose in order that the rope collar wraps around the hose itself. To increase the total length and consequently the efficiency of the rope grip, unscrew partially the G ferrule of the T tensioner. Repeat the operation to obtain a significant pre-charge of the collar, which will then assure tightness, irreversibility and stability. If, after the operation of point 3, a too larger space is found between the tensioner and the flexible hose, it is necessary to repeat the operation of point

2 getting the tensioner closer by acting on the locking rope grain. When in position, the safety rope will not move longitudinally on the hose. The connection to the adaptor/ equipment is made by using the proper F flange together with the two rope drive shells B assembled on the rope eyelets. Then close tight using the M8 bolt and the auto-sealing nut. In the same way, this set up can be repeated for the connection to 1 or 2 bolt of the SAE flange by means of proper washers / shells.
