Board of Park Commissioners Established in 1966, the Naperville Park District is an independent municipal agency committed to its mission by offering a wide variety of recreation opportunities. A seven- member board elected at-large by Naperville voters governs the organization, each serving a four-year term. Board Meetings Board meetings are held twice monthly on the second Thursday at 7:00 pm and the fourth Thursday at 6:30 pm. Meetings are open to the public and also are published on the Park District’s YouTube channel.
