Scratch Ninja, Units 3–4 Unit 3 covers the most advanced programming concepts that Scratch has to offer including list/array, defining your own blocks (functions), and complex interactions between different game elements via messaging and cloning. Unit 4 focuses on making connections across the lessons while layering additional challenges in coding, problem-solving, and creativity. We will be building a variety of fun arcade games-inspired projects. Instructor: Create & Learn Ages: 7–10 Location: Online Res/Non-res 26613 M–Th 1–1:55 p.m. 6/26–7/6 $138/$173 Smart Devices: Arduino for Kids, Units 1–3 Campers will learn how to create circuits, use resistors, and get introduced to Ohm’s law, while building a series of cool projects and experiments. Build more sophisticated circuits for smart devices, code breakers, and games using Arduino. CREATE & LEARN

Python for AI, Units 1–4 Campers take a deeper dive into coding using Python, and will transition from block coding, which they learned in Scratch, to text-based coding. They will learn fundamental Python skills as they build creative stories, animations and games. Basic topics will include using Python syntax, variables, loops, functions, and built–in data structures. Instructor: Create & Learn Ages: 10–17 Location: Online Res/Non-res 26610 M–Th 12–12:55 p.m. 6/12–7/6 $263/$329 Scratch Junior This series of fun classes use the Scratch Junior platform, developed by the same MIT team that built Scratch. While building interactive stories and games, your child will be introduced to the basics of coding concepts, solve problems, and most importantly, create! Instructor: Create & Learn Ages: 5–6 Location: Online Res/Non-res 26615 M–W 11:45 a.m.–12:30 p.m. 7/10–19 $105/$131 Scratch Ninja, Units 1–2 Class uses Scratch, a coding platform developed by MIT, as a tool to teach core computer science and coding concepts such as loop, conditional, motion, and sensing. Campers will also work on a project in each session ranging from animation and games to graphic design,
