Alegre de MUSA

I moved to Toronto, Canada in 2004 then decided to transfer to United States in 2009 to further pursue my career as a Physical Therapist. In 2014, I received my transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy from Dominican University New York (used to be Dominican College). I am currently a REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT of REHABILITATION SERVICES serving multiple skilled nursing facilities in Georgia. I’m also a real estate entrepreneur–buying, selling and renting properties. I live in Georgia with my husband and my 7 year old son, Gabriel. My family understands the impact of MUSA’s advocacy to our home country. We know that MUSA has helped and will continue to help the people deprived of liberty/prisoners in the jail institutions and the Indigenous Women of different tribes in Davao. Being ambassadors for MUSA give us an opportunity to re-connect to our culture. My family finds great value and meaning in maintaining and supporting activities that align with our cultural background. We want our son to learn & practice some aspects of Filipino culture and be proud of it.
